Welcome

Thanks for visiting Remove Before Flight. This blog has been intended to cover anything about remote controlled models in particular flying ones such as helis and planes.

Like countless other rc blogs or websites, stuff that you may find (in the near future hopefully) on this blog are my inventory of course :), build tips, modifications, upgrades, general info, pic galleries, techniques and other stuff that I think are related to this blog.

Do bare with me as I try to update this blog as often as I could. Once again, thanks for visiting and see you at the field. Fly safe!

If tail wobble up n down

According to Raptor Technique...

The up/down vibration of this fin suggest the source of the vibration is from the tail if the frequency is very high (in the 8Khz range. If it is in the 1.5Khz range then it is from the rotor head..
1. Main blades not in track.
2. Main blades not balenced.
3. Tail blades not balenced
4. Bent tail rotor shaft.
5. Bent or cracked blade grip
6. Bent pitch arm on slider
7. Worn/loose belt
8. Worn output or input shaft pulley.
9. Bent main shaft

Investigations:

My blades are tracked.. so i will opt to try the 2nd options.. perhaps my blades are not balanced. Just waiting for my new 600mm SB, 3rd option, to try another tail blade

Project 600 (4th Jan 2009)

The 'burung' arrived a few days ago but due to the new year's holidays, I only managed to collect it from MPC yesterday..

I am quite dissapointed that Helipross.com hasn't ship out my order yet, I need the servos to complete my project..

But.. I started building it none the less... meticulously if I may say.. no single parts left unsuper glued (for plastic) or unthread locked (for metal)

Will fit the b*tch with the my new OS but me old hatori, align ds610s for the cyclics, align ds620 fro the throttle, 401/ 9253 combo for the rudder, my old funtech 600mm, used 95mm align carbons, new align 2in1 regulator, a new set of multigov pro governor and a spare JR micro servo for automatic engine mixture.

As of today (5th Jan 2009), below is where I am at.. completed the head..

Anyways, will update soon.. need to rest.. this build will take some time due to helipross.. (damn you helipross!!! god save the queen)..see you when i see you
